Discover Nosicze Story
The Nosicze collection is a story about the mountains and people who have spent their whole lives there.
Almost everyone knows Nepalese porters and Sherpas. They are an essential part of every himalayan expedition taking place in this country. From the moment of the first winter ascent of K2, in the minds of the world, they also became full-fledged climbers who, for some reason, previously seemed to receive these merits.
A little less is known about the Tatra porters who function in the High Tatras in Slovakia, commonly known as Nosič.
The Slovak Tatra shelters are located in the high parts of the mountains, and the only possible transport are porters who carry all the supplies on their backs.
Being a Nosič in Slovakia is an honor and respect.
My project about Nosiče is a story about the mountains and the people who spent their whole lives there. I started it in January 2017 and I am continuing it all the time.
